0God brought us together as sisters
So we can share all our hopes and dreams
To share our laughter and our tears
Sometimes to get mad and even fight
To hold each other up when we are down
Together the bond we have will remain strong.
There were so many times I hated you
But now it is only you I can trust
I’ll be here for you no matter what
You’ll always be in my heart
Am glad that you are of my blood
Don’t know what I’d do without you in my life.
If you need a shoulder to cry on I’ll be here
I am here when you are sad and lonely
Or when you’re in pain
Glad I can help you when you’re feeling gray

She Is Mine

0She walks around with confidence
A little girl, she is only nine
People ask, Is she your sister?
And I reply proudly, Yes, she is mine.
At one time, there was an uncertain birth
Which came the youngest sister of mine
Would she die or live?
We would only know in time
So little hair, yet so blonde
Her eyes were the color of the sea
She only weighed four pounds, so small
And when I looked at her, she looked like me
As she grew older, she looked up to me
She did everything I did, and it made me mad
I constantly told her to get lost
And that made her feel bad
On June 18th, I had to watch her leave
I cannot believe I had to say goodbye
But when I see her in three weeks
I cannot wait until I get to say hi
This is my little sister, Chelse
And I am very proud to say
That when she gets a bit older
She will be just like me one day
She walks around with confidence

To find words that tell you best
On how deep my love is for my sister
And how it will always stand the test
I look at you and see myself too many years ago
You make me smile, worry and cry with pride

0I consider myself very lucky
To have a sister;
A sister, who loves me for what I am,
Not for what others see me as,
Or for what I ought to be.
She loves me truly the way I am.
We’ve fought and patched up.
We’ve shared secrets of happiness and sadness
We’ve laughed until we cried,
And then we dried each other’s tears.
I look up to her (because she’s taller than me)
We don’t laugh at each other’s mistakes,
But help each other to correct them.
She prevents me from losing my temper,
I prevent her from losing her sense of judgement.

But together, we help each other to become so.

0I have always loved you
When we were younger
You would pretend I wasn’t your sister
Why did you do that
I just tried to love you
I was always there for you
Or whenever you needed me
When they put you away
It was me who cried every night
Cause I missed you
I didn’t want you in there
I wanted you home where you belonged
I would always try and make you laugh
Whenever your eyes were full of tears
I would never hurt you like you’re hurting me
